Take turns to clean your home 🏡

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog!

I have no content to write about.

Everyday is a new day for us. We'll learn new things, new hobbies, just to make the day a good day.

In those annual holidays that was on May 2025, I had to make sure that my day should be a good day, which was difficult for me and also for everyone because, everyday We'll face a new problem or an obstacle, and somehow we have to tackle the problem to solve it and cross that obstacle.

I had food cravings which was good, but sometimes it became worse. The only good thing is that, It was a home made one, which is healthier compared to the restaurant one's.

Managing family provision that is grocery, cooking and also maintaining cleanliness and neatness in arranging things is the main important things that I had to take care off.

Recently after Christmas 2025, Me and brother took charge in cleaning the shelves and throwing away the waste products. Rearranging the things into a neat one, which made us hectic, but we did our best on doing that, though most of the work had been done by my brother, since I am a lazy person to do so😅😮‍💨.

I know most of us won't keep things in the correct place. Though we think that it is always a show for the people who comes to your home as a guest but, it is necessary to replace the things properly.

A home is always a sweet home for us.
So start from today, try to replace things properly, rearrange it, maintain it and make your home into a sweet one 😉.

A solo Travelling in Chennai... Short stories of my life - 8

A girl from a town, who is not used with Chennai lifestyle. Though she travelled to Chennai many times with her family,  and suddenly have to travel alone, how does it feel?

This is how my parents felt, where I have to travel alone in Chennai, when I was a first year college student. It was so awkward for me to ask my friends or my roommates to travel with me as an help.

At first, it was so difficult where I have to beg people,  to accompany me for travel. I used to travel with my friends or my roomie to accompany me, but then asking the person again and again is like irritating them or make them frustrated on this. Though they never told the uneasiness of how they felt, I thought maybe I should travel alone.

It was the even semester time, I started travelling alone. There are many things which I am not aware of in Chennai. But the strangers of unknown people here, irrespective of their age they helped me, guided me in Chennai which shows the humanity here.

As a girl, travelling travelling alone in Chennai, my parents always called me to help, to guide me, though their inner conscience were afraid, of what something terrible happens to my daughter.

Now, I am a person who loves to travel alone and let me tell you, I never faced any harassment, eve teasing. The most terrifying place in Chennai is North Chennai, this is what people told me about this for a girl to travel alone. But let me tell you, I have even travelled to north chennai alone, without any help of my friends. This is so true about Chennai (வந்தாரை வாழவைக்கும் சென்னை).

You may think that this is very simple for a person to survive in Chennai, but it is not easy at all, especially for a women. If they get used to regularly, it is a safe place for all.

Why am I writing a blog about this?
For those who read my blog about this especially if you are not from Chennai, don't think that someone will help us all the time. You need to stand up on your feet and survive here.

In Conclusion, Chennai is a place where you'll learn a life lesson and it teach you many things about life. It depends on how you utilise it.

If you have self confidence on yourselves and have guts, please travel alone and be brave enough to face the upcoming obstacles that you might have to face while travelling in Chennai.

When forgetting leads to restlessness... Short stories of my life - 7

It was the month of winter where I was very tired, when I returned to my hostel from my home on 15th December morning. I attended the classes that day, which made me even tired but, I had other plans for that day. I went to the bus stop and waited for a long time for the bus to come and I already missed the bus. I felt demotivated and called my mom at that time. I told her that I am going to use train for travel, but she told me to wait and assured me that I will get a bus, so I stood there patiently. Within few seconds, A bus came 51A to T-Nagar. I got inside the bus, and travelled nearly one hour 15minutes I guess.

First lesson - wait patiently, or else you will miss the opportunity. Don't be impatient!

Firstly, I went to fancy accessories shop to buy earrings after that, I went to Saravana stores to buy some Jeans for myself. I reached Mambalam Railway station and got a ticket to Tambaram. I hoped onto the ladies compartment, admist the crowd I travelled and reached Guindy, until I remembered something. I forgot the earrings that was bought and kept in the underground of Saravana stores, where we need to keep our things there. I panicked and got down from the train, searched for railway counter to buy ticket and went to mambalam again and brought my earrings back from the store. I was exhausted and felt my leg was numb and suddenly, I made the decision to use Bus to reach my hostel. It was nearly two hours of travel and reached the hostel at 9pm, due to heavy traffic at Velacherry and Pallikaranai. It was a nice experience, travelling alone at night in Chennai and an unforgettable memories that I created was a disaster.

Second lesson: Don't be forgetful of your things while travelling. Be mindful and careful when you are travelling alone.
