A solo Travelling in Chennai... Short stories of my life - 8

A girl from a town, who is not used with Chennai lifestyle. Though she travelled to Chennai many times with her family,  and suddenly have to travel alone, how does it feel?

This is how my parents felt, where I have to travel alone in Chennai, when I was a first year college student. It was so awkward for me to ask my friends or my roommates to travel with me as an help.

At first, it was so difficult where I have to beg people,  to accompany me for travel. I used to travel with my friends or my roomie to accompany me, but then asking the person again and again is like irritating them or make them frustrated on this. Though they never told the uneasiness of how they felt, I thought maybe I should travel alone.

It was the even semester time, I started travelling alone. There are many things which I am not aware of in Chennai. But the strangers of unknown people here, irrespective of their age they helped me, guided me in Chennai which shows the humanity here.

As a girl, travelling travelling alone in Chennai, my parents always called me to help, to guide me, though their inner conscience were afraid, of what something terrible happens to my daughter.

Now, I am a person who loves to travel alone and let me tell you, I never faced any harassment, eve teasing. The most terrifying place in Chennai is North Chennai, this is what people told me about this for a girl to travel alone. But let me tell you, I have even travelled to north chennai alone, without any help of my friends. This is so true about Chennai (வந்தாரை வாழவைக்கும் சென்னை).

You may think that this is very simple for a person to survive in Chennai, but it is not easy at all, especially for a women. If they get used to regularly, it is a safe place for all.

Why am I writing a blog about this?
For those who read my blog about this especially if you are not from Chennai, don't think that someone will help us all the time. You need to stand up on your feet and survive here.

In Conclusion, Chennai is a place where you'll learn a life lesson and it teach you many things about life. It depends on how you utilise it.

If you have self confidence on yourselves and have guts, please travel alone and be brave enough to face the upcoming obstacles that you might have to face while travelling in Chennai.

When forgetting leads to restlessness... Short stories of my life - 7

It was the month of winter where I was very tired, when I returned to my hostel from my home on 15th December morning. I attended the classes that day, which made me even tired but, I had other plans for that day. I went to the bus stop and waited for a long time for the bus to come and I already missed the bus. I felt demotivated and called my mom at that time. I told her that I am going to use train for travel, but she told me to wait and assured me that I will get a bus, so I stood there patiently. Within few seconds, A bus came 51A to T-Nagar. I got inside the bus, and travelled nearly one hour 15minutes I guess.

First lesson - wait patiently, or else you will miss the opportunity. Don't be impatient!

Firstly, I went to fancy accessories shop to buy earrings after that, I went to Saravana stores to buy some Jeans for myself. I reached Mambalam Railway station and got a ticket to Tambaram. I hoped onto the ladies compartment, admist the crowd I travelled and reached Guindy, until I remembered something. I forgot the earrings that was bought and kept in the underground of Saravana stores, where we need to keep our things there. I panicked and got down from the train, searched for railway counter to buy ticket and went to mambalam again and brought my earrings back from the store. I was exhausted and felt my leg was numb and suddenly, I made the decision to use Bus to reach my hostel. It was nearly two hours of travel and reached the hostel at 9pm, due to heavy traffic at Velacherry and Pallikaranai. It was a nice experience, travelling alone at night in Chennai and an unforgettable memories that I created was a disaster.

Second lesson: Don't be forgetful of your things while travelling. Be mindful and careful when you are travelling alone.

When you are being honest... Short stories of my life-6

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my short stories!

When we want to depend on someone, there is something that values, that is Honest and Trust. Honesty plays a major role in our life.

When we tell everything in an honest manner, it not only shows how we are, but also it shows how reliable we are.

I am always honest to my parents, as well as to my brother. They trust you so much that, if you break their trust, it shows how dishonest, we are.

But, there may be times, where we have to hide something from them. Don't keep that secret for too long, instead just break the truth with honest.

That's the reason, I'll share each and every thing to my mom, as well as to my dad.

I even told my mom, that I have crush on someone, and I told my mom that, I'll take a look or sight at boys and she never judged me.

I know some people don't have any person, to rely and trust someone. Try to find someone, who is really honest in everything, so that you can rely on.

In the Bible, Job is the best example of how to be honest to God. Though, he faced many struggles, still his trust and honest didn't go down for God.

Proverbs 19:1 – Better is the poor man who walks in his integrity than one who is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

So guys, HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY!
WHATEVER THE PROBLEMS WE FACE, JUST BE HONEST!

When I have Inferiority Complex... Short stories of my life-5

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my short stories.

When I was a child, I used to have this inability called inferiority complex. This is like a serious disease like disorder, where we let ourselves down to others.
It's like feel demotivated to things always to someone. I felt this during my school days and also in the college, but this complex has been decreased.

I used to think that, others are better than me in everything, while I used to lower down myself. Maybe, this was the reason I didn't have a friends to be called and that's also the reason, I hate my school. I didn't feel the attachment towards the school, maybe because of this reason. I used to feel jealous of others, because my personality is not good to others and I used to cry for this.

Though, I have a supportive and understanding family to encourage me, but school is the place, where we learn to stand by ourself. I didn't have the opportunity to do so. I used to quiet to others and I used to think that, what if say something to them, that they will feel hurt?

It was very severe, when I was in school days. I don't want to share it deep here.

Even now in college days, sometimes I'll be quiet of what if I hurt with or without knowing my actions?

It's good that I have good friends and happy environment that surrounds me😊. This complex happened to me because of the social conditions in school, where I felt that school is a lonely place for me.

SO GUYS, BE YOURSELF AND LOVE YOURSELF! DON'T LET OTHERS TO JUDGE YOU! HAVE A GOOD ATMOSPHERE SO THAT, YOU WON'T FEEL THIS INABILITY LIKE WHAT I HAD!

Short stories of my life - 5

Hello everyone! It's been a week, since I stopped writing for a while, due to some reasons. Let's start!

A day before yesterday, My mom told me something, which, I can't understand. She said that, An eagle always goes to the mountain to pluck of It's wings. It stays there for a long time, without having food or water and be empty stomach for half a year. At first, I don't understand the concept of an eagle, but after listening to my mom, I can understand that, why she is telling those things.

Well, this eagle lives in the mountain, with empty stomach for six months. All the eagle does, to get a longer life, because eagle can live for seventy years. To make sure of this, eagle sits under the tree and plucks of It's wings, which is a painful thing for do so. Hence, with empty stomach, plucking It's wings, make sure that eagle can live for longer life.

If it doesn't, it leads to the short life span of eagle.

Well, she told me this, because I am suffering from typhoid. Though it is a mild typhoid, I have to follow the strict diet, so that, it leads a betterment of life for me.

We can interpret the struggles of eagle in our life, with many of our struggles, that we can compare.

SOMETIMES, IT'S BETTER TO LET GO OF SOMETHING, WHICH WE DON'T WANT, OR YOU CAN TAKE MY LIFE AS AN EXAMPLE OF MY STRUGGLE.

When you have Supportive parents... Short stories of my life - 4

Hello everyone! Welcome to my short stories! Let's start!

How does it feel, when you have supportive parents? Do you feel happy?
If you ask me, I am the luckiest person to have such supportive parents. I feel less burden and I share everything to my parents, especially to my mom. I don't keep any secrets from my mom. Even if I do, I'll reveal it later. I even told the truth, that I have crush on someone.
She is a very strict person and she is not just my mom, she is my sister, Teacher, my best friend to me. She taught me everything.

When it comes to my father, he is very punctual, where I used to be afraid of him. Since, I grown a little bit, I rebel against him, not because of fights, it just he loves to tease me. Well, he really taught me, when it comes to moral values.

When it comes to my brother, he is perfect in everything, which I can't do that, since I am lazy person in doing works in my home. He is very caring, at the same time, he is very strict sometimes, which led to fights. We used to fight a lot, but after we grown up, we fight less.

I am having such an understanding parents and a supportive brother to me. I am lucky to have them. If you let them trust you, they won't find anything wrong in you. They trust me so much, and also, I won't let them down, in front of anyone. That’s the reason, I speak boldly, because of my parent's strength to me. They are supportive, in everything. What's the secret that I kept from my parents? There is none, because I tell them everything, since they are understanding parents to me.

Guys, I am not making anyone jealous!

This short story is dedicated to my parents, as well as my brother.

OBEY THEM! RESPECT THEM! AT THE SAME TIME, LET THEM UNDERSTAND YOU BETTER!

AN ACCIDENTAL AUTHOR... Short stories of my life - 3

Hello everyone! Welcome to my short stories! Let's start!

It's all started, during pandemic time. I don't know how I got addicted to this app called MANGATOON. It's a Chinese app, where it has Chinese comics, novel and chat stories. At first, I was attracted towards Comics, but when I started to read chat stories, it was so different from others, where the stories goes like a chat. The characters has some profile photos, just like a chatting in WhatsApp. I was immersed in it so much, that I read atleast or finish a chat story in a day.

As I have mentioned in the lecture, as well as in the class that I love reading romance based stories. I really loved the way, the author connects with the readers with flow of writing, emotional impact, where I cried too.

But that's not the case. I was so jealous with some authors, where they have more likes, subscribers, their popularity, where it made me to write a story.

I read a news, where stepmother pushed her stepdaughter from the terrace, as she didn't like her from the first. This made a great impact on me.

I used to think that, why stepmothers were potrayed as a villain to her stepdaughter in the Chinese comics, as well as in C-Drama? This made me to write story, titled as LIVING AS A STEPMOTHER.

I wrote this story, when I was doing my 10th standard. I wrote this story, around 50 chapters, where my story got recognised by readers.

I was happy with this. I got around 300 subscribers, around 1600 likes, around 55,000 readers had read my story, though they didn't subscribe my story.

Things went well for me but, I couldn't continue and concentrate on writing the story, as public exams were coming up and I didn't have a good story flow, which made me to delete that story, where many readers requested me not to delete the story, but I went against it and I deleted the story.

I did feel happy, as I have to spend one hour just to write one chapter. I thought, I could feel happy in the upcoming days, but I regretted it. I am still regretting now, that I couldn't finish my story.

I can't even recover my story, as I had different phone with different account.
I can write new story now, but it needs a lots of time to write this.

So for now, I will write a story, during my annual holidays.

SO GUYS, NEVER GIVE UP ON ANYTHING! TRY TO FIGHT AGAINST IT, IF NOT LET IT GO! BUT, GO WITH A FLOW!

short stories of my life - 1

Hello everyone! This is a blog, where I am going to write short stories, not like a short stories with a moral of the story, but with the daily life of mine, which was happened in the past or daily life experience, which I am facing still now. It might give you a moral or, it will give you a life experience, which you may have faced it in your life. This is what I am going to share here. I might do as a critic, a reviewer, write fictional stories too. This blog is different from which I am writing, based on daily life in MCC.

FRIENDSHIP THAT I HAD DURING MY SCHOOLDAYS AS WELL AS MY COLLEGE DAYS...

I am a person, who have friends but, are they really worthy to be called as my friends? Well not really. The friends which I am having in college are really my best friends to be called of. This makes me to think that college life is different from school life. If you guys ask me which is better,  College life is really better for me, where I learned so many things because of my friends. They still teach me how to be friendly with one another, how to help each other when someone is in need of help. They really understand my feelings better than my friends, which I had in my school. My school days friendships is very hard to talk about. The only friend, where she cares for me is GOPIKA, my school friend, where we studied sixth standard together ❤️. We lost our connection, when I changed my class from Section D to Section B. We again continued our friendship, when we were in XII grade. I am still having a contact with her and I can never forget about her, even though she is a bio-maths student, while I am a pure science student. This makes me to understand that I never had anyone to be called as my friend in my class. Maybe, they don't like the way of me, being honest to others, or like a person who always correct mistakes, when they lie.

I am a person, who is having inferiority complex. So whenever I think about that, It makes me really sad 😔. This is why, I hate my school not because of this, but there are other reasons too.

They just use me like a use and throw cup, which really hurt me in the past. Even now, I am afraid of my friends, thinking that, I might hurt them. That’s why, I mostly become a quiet person among my friends, but still, I don't want to become a depressed person. Still, I am a cheerful and a happy bird who flies happily with full and honest emotions on my face.

There is a saying in the Bible,

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.
John 15:13

So people, Have a good and real friends, who really supports you at the same time, who understands you better. 😃

Poem - Unsaid feelings beyond the chains

When I was born as a baby, You felt protective of me. When I grew up as a girl, You felt dangerous for me And never let me play on the stree...
