Why astrophysics is a mysterious subject?

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my second discussion.

In today's Physics class, we had a discussion, whether we have planets outside the solar system. 

I thought, we are having only 8 planets in our system, but I learned something about is EXOPLANETS.

What are exoplanets?

Planets that orbit around the stars and the planets, that are found outside the solar system are called exoplanets. 

It's an interesting, yet an mysterious about the planets.

How do they find about it?

There is this mission called Kepler mission, where they zoom a particular star through kepler telescope and they keep an eye on a star. While doing it, they can see the shadows of the planet, when it crosses the star.

What are the objectives of finding exoplanets?

One of the primary objectives of the Kepler mission was to find out how many stars hosted planets and especially to estimate the frequency of earthlike planets. Although Kepler looked at only a very tiny fraction of the stars in the Galaxy, the sample size was large enough to draw some interesting conclusions. While the observations apply only to the stars observed by Kepler, those stars are reasonably representative, and so astronomers can extrapolate to the entire Galaxy.

Though science is crazy, filled with mysteries, mysterious concepts but, an interesting facts to learn about.

We think that, there are only 8 planets in the universe. How many people knew that there is something called exoplanets?

I learned these facts, which were taught by Nirmal sir and I wanted to share it here.

And Thus, ASTROPHYSICS is exploring the universe, where it will be mysterious and takes a long time to find an answer, but the answers will sometimes makes us shiver and curious about it.

Diaries-35

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my diaries!

My day starts at 7am. I had my bath and got myself ready for the day. I had my breakfast in the canteen and I went to the class.

My first hour was Literary forms by MSJ sir, where he had given papers and we had a discussion about writings.

My second hour was Tamil period by Karunakaran sir, where he had finished half of the poem of Kambaramayanam. 

My third hour was SHE/HEL by JJ sir, where I presented seminar today.

My fourth hour was english period by DW sir.

My last hour was GC physics by Nirmal sir, where we had discussion about Galaxies.

I came back to the hall with tiredness on my face and I had my lunch. I didn't go for Bible study, as I have some health issues and slept for two and a half hours.

I woke up at 5:30pm and I had some fruits.

Today, we had our batch meeting for the upcomings at 9pm.

8TH BARNES HALL DAY... Diaries-35

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my diaries. 

Yesterday was such a happy day for me as we had our Hall day.

I woke up at 7am to get ready for the photo shoot. Around 8am, we had our hall photo shoot, where principal came and then we had our inaugural ceremony for the hall day. The important VIP's of our college management and the other hall cabinets came to our hall for the ceremony. After this was ended, We had our breakfast.

I got ready for the open forum meeting for the parents. I wore saree and I got myself ready, where my DAd came to pick me up from the hall. To my surprise, my Brother came, though he said he was not sure, about coming or not. We went to Anderson hall for the meeting, and then we had some refreshments which was given by them, after the meeting was ended. We straightly went to meet the professors and then I took a walk around the campus with my brother, where I took him to the chemistry department especially.

After that, I went to Pattinapakkam beach to have seafood lunch around 2pm. We came back around 4 pm and I showed my dad and my bro to the hall. 

My friends Lal (Lalu😁) and Jijo came as my tea guest and also as my dinner guest, where I introduced them to my dad and my bro and took a scroll around my hall. 

Both my dad and bro left around 5:45pm and the program started around 6:30pm. The program went well and also I helped my seniors as much as I could.

The program ended at 8:30pm and then we stood in a queue to have dinner. I had fun with my roommate and her friend and also with my friends, where we had a nice chat. 

Both my friends left and bid a goodbye to them. I was so tired and I slept at 11:30pm After I had done some works.
